Stavroula Thoma is a Cypriot concert pianist who has performed in the UK, Cyprus, Greece and Hungary.
At the age of 11, Stavroula won the second prize in the Evaggelia Tziarri International Piano competition in Cyprus. During her undergraduate studies at Royal Holloway University of London, Stavroula was a scholar of Georgiou and Maria Tirimou’s foundation. She was awarded the Marzorie Hulzehurst Piano award for her final Master’s Degree recital and was also a Joseph Weingarten scholar at the Liszt Academy of Music. She obtained her Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Performance from Birmingham Conservatoire with Distinction. Stavroula is well acknowledged for her vivid sense of communication, warmth and lyricism in her music making.
